Pics: Down time, Down Under

Manchester United's players took a well-earned break from training on Wednesday afternoon - and enjoyed their choice of activity in and around Sydney, Australia.

While some members of the squad went off whale watching, others got a closer look at smaller creatures including koala bears, giraffe and snakes in the city's Taronga Zoo.

Meanwhile, a party of players was joined on the golf course by former United stars Dwight Yorke and Phil Neville - the latter having a few hours' rest from his new coaching role with the Reds following his appointment earlier this month.
